Cathedral Schools Trust is delighted to announce that Eiron Bailey has been appointed as the very first Headteacher of CST Trinity Academy.
Eiron has worked as a Senior Leader at Bristol Cathedral Choir School (BCCS) for the last 9 years. He is passionate about seeing all children succeed and believes that education should focus on both academic and ‘whole person’ development. It has been this approach that has been so successful at Bristol Cathedral Choir School and Eiron played a key role in seeing the school to Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ status in 2017, his work in the report being referred to as ‘exceptional’. He is particularly involved in music and the arts as a national leader and speaker with an outstanding track record. He is currently musical director of the Bristol Youth Orchestra and has worked closely with Bristol Plays Music to develop their city wide strategy. He has lived in Bristol since 1998 and is married with two children.
Eiron said “It is a great privilege to be appointed Headteacher of CST Trinity Academy and an exciting opportunity to build a world class school in north Bristol. Our 'whole child' education will build on the outstanding success of BCCS and I look forward to creating an environment of excellence where all can succeed.”
